Grandma Cole'S Creamed Oysters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 dozen oysters
    1/2 pt. thin cream
    3 hard-boiled eggs, cooled
    1/2 stick butter
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 tsp. lemon juice
    flour (to make heavy white sauce)
Preparation
    Make white sauce with cream, butter and flour.
    Shell eggs. Chop yolks fine; add mustard, lemon juice and a small pat of butter.
    Chop egg whites fine and mix into white sauce.
    Add yolk mixture to white sauce.
    Season with salt, onion salt and Old Bay seasoning.
    Cook oysters separately until edges begin to curl. Add only oysters to white sauce.
    Save liquid; add a little to sauce.
    Heat very slowly before serving.
    Serve over sliced turkey, stuffing or plain.
