Porcupine Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. rice (uncooked)
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 tsp. black pepper
    2 tsp. salt
    3 c. string beans
    1 1/2 c. carrots
    1/2 c. catsup
Preparation
    Mix first 6 ingredients together.
    Shape into small balls. Brown in 1/2 cup cooking oil.
    when brown, pour off oil.
    Top each ball with catsup.
    Add vegetables.
    Cover with water.
    Cook in a covered container over low heat for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
    I like to use an electric frying pan.
    Serves 6 to 8.
