Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cut-up frying chicken
    1 c. rice, uncooked and not Minute rice
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 1/2 cans water
Preparation
    Butter a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle rice into pan, then sprinkle onion soup mix over rice.
    Mix mushroom soup with water and pour into pan.
    Place chicken pieces on top.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Cover with aluminum foil; seal.
    Bake for 1 hour in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Uncover and bake 1/2 hour longer.
