Sand Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    1/ tsp. soda
    1 egg
Preparation
    Combine and form into 4 balls.
    Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate overnight.
    Next day, soften ball with warmth of hands.
    Roll very thin.
    Cut out and decorate.
    Bake at 400\u00b0. Watch closely, they brown quickly!
