Peter Paul Mound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter, softened
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    2 1/2 c. flour
    dash of salt
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Sift together the soda, flour, salt and cocoa.
    Add dry ingredients to egg mixture alternately with the buttermilk.
    Bake in 3 greased and floured 8-inch pans for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cool in pans on rack until completely cool.
