Cinnamon Rock Candy By Janis - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Karo syrup
    1/2 c. water
    dash of salt
    red food coloring
    2 capfuls cinnamon oil
Preparation
    Combine sugar, Karo syrup, water and salt.
    Cook in a medium saucepan to the hard rock stage (290\u00b0).
    Remove from heat.
    Add food coloring for pretty red color and cinnamon oil.
    Pour in buttered pan until set, then break into pieces.
    Delicious!
