Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. sugar
2/3 c. butter
4 eggs
2 c. ripe bananas, mashed
1 c. nuts
Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Mix butter, sugar, shortening and eggs in large bowl for 3 minutes.
Stop.
Add the nuts, bananas and flour mixture.
Beat until smooth, about 1 minute.
Put in bread pan and bake 1 hour or until done in 2 greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch pans at 350\u00b0.
Store overnight before slicing.
Makes 2 loaves of bread.
