Ham Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground ham
    1 lb. ground pork
    2 c. dry bread crumbs
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. pepper
    3/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
    1 c. canned applesauce
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Combine meats, bread crumbs, onion, salt, pepper, poultry seasoning and dry mustard.
    Add applesauce and eggs and mix well. Rub 8 cup mold with shortening; sprinkle with 1/4 cup bread crumbs and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
