Ingredients

1 box brown sugar
1 lb. orange slice candy, cut up and rolled in flour
4 eggs
1 c. pecans
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Put in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake in slow oven at 275\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes until lightly brown.
Overbaking makes them crunchy; to be chewy they must be barely done.
Cool and cut into squares.
