Jefferson Davis Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8-inch) pie shells
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    1 c. cream
    3 eggs
    juice of 1 lemon
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar together.
    Add cream and mix well. Beat eggs one at a time and combine singularly with the cream mixture.
    Add lemon juice.
    Pour into pie shells.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 40 minutes or until firm.
