Ingredients
    4 large artichokes
    juice of 1/2 lemon plus grated lemon peel for stuffing
    salt
    dash of baking soda
Preparation
    Boil or steam artichokes.
    Cook until hearts are easily pierced; rinse under cold water.
    Invert and drain.
