Quick Raisin Bread(A Very Old Family Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. milk
    2 eggs, beaten
    4 Tbsp. melted table fat
    1 1/2 c. seedless dark raisins
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Add milk to eggs.
    Stir liquid into dry ingredients and mix just until smooth.
    Stir in melted fat and raisins (and nuts if desired).
    Pour into greased loaf pan.
    Let stand 20 minutes. Bake at 350\u00b0 about 1 hour.
