24 Hour Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head chopped lettuce
    1 head cauliflower, sliced
    1 onion, sliced
    1 lb. bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled
    1 can water chestnuts, drained
    2 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Put first 5 ingredients in large pan.
    Over top spread dressing of mayonnaise, sugar and Parmesan cheese, mixed.
    Cover and chill overnight.
