Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 1/2 c. chopped onion
    3/4 c. chopped bell pepper
    1 can tomatoes
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    2 tsp. chili powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In large skillet, cook and stir ground beef until light brown.
    Drain fat.
    Add onion and pepper.
    Cook and stir until onion is tender.
    Stir in tomatoes, rice, chili powder, salt and pepper.
    Heat thoroughly.
    Pour into ungreased 2-quart casserole.
    Cover and bake for 1 hour.
