Spicy Chili With Sour Cream Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes (undrained)
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can kidney beans (undrained)
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies (undrained)
    Sour Cream Dumplings (recipe follows)
Preparation
    Cook and stir ground beef, onion and garlic in 4-quart Dutch oven until beef is brown; drain.
    Stir in remaining ingredients, except dumplings.
    Heat to boiling, stirring frequently.
    Reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 1 hour.
