Potato Soup Plus - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. potatoes, peeled and sliced
    3 or 4 carrots, peeled and sliced
    2 medium onions, sliced
    1/2 lb. bulk sausage, browned and drained
    2 Tbsp. butter
    4 oz. Velveeta or Cheddar, in chunks
    water as needed to cover vegetables
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper to taste
    1 tsp. dill
Preparation
    Put potatoes, carrots and onions in a big pot with just enough water to cover.
    Boil until tender.
    Do not drain! Mash.
    Stir in browned sausage, butter, cheese and spices.
    Simmer a few minutes, until cheese melts and flavors blend.
