Earthquake Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
    1 1/2 c. coconut, shredded
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1/2 c. margarine
    8 oz. cream cheese
    4 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch pan. Combine pecans and coconut.
    Sprinkle over bottom of pan.
    Prepare cake mix per directions on box, then pour into pan.
    Melt margarine and cream cheese together in saucepan.
    Add powdered sugar; mix well.
    Pour mixture over cake batter.
    Bake 45 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool, then cut into squares.
    Makes 16 squares.
