Rhubarb Crunch - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour
2 c. oatmeal
3/4 c. shortening
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. water
1 c. sugar
4 c. cut up rhubarb
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation

Mix brown sugar, flour, oatmeal, shortening and cinnamon. Press half of this mixture in a 9 x 13-inch pan, saving the other half for the topping.
Set aside.
Cook the water, sugar and rhubarb, adding the cornstarch (softened in water) last.
Put over crumbs in pan and sprinkle remaining crumbs on top.
Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for about 1 hour.
Be sure to serve with vanilla ice cream!
