Fresh Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bag fresh cranberries, washed and hulled
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 pt. heavy cream
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 lb. Tokay grapes, quartered
    Boston lettuce
Preparation
    Grind berries in a meat grinder.
    Place in a bowl with the sugar for 2 hours or so.
    Put the mixture into a strainer and let drain overnight.
    Add grapes and let stand 2 to 4 hours more. Just before serving, add whipped cream and nuts.
    Serve on lettuce leaves.
