Kugelhupf(Christmas Bread) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1 c. evaporated milk
1 c. water
1/2 c. margarine
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
8 c. flour
1/2 c. candied fruit
1/2 c. currants
grated rind of orange
Preparation

Sprinkle yeast over 1/4 cup warm water.
Let stand for 5 minutes.
Add milk, water, margarine, sugar, salt, eggs and rind. Stir until well mixed.
Add 6 cups of flour.
Work until mixed well, add fruit and enough flour to form a soft dough.
Let rise until doubled, then punch down and make loaves.
Let rise until doubled in size.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
