Red Velvet Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. vegetable shortening, softened
    2 sticks butter or margarine, softened
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1/4 c. cocoa
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. red food coloring
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream butter and shortening until fluffy.
    Gradually add sugar, creaming well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add cocoa, salt, vanilla and red food coloring.
