Pressed Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter or margarine (2 sticks)
    2/3 c. sugar
    3 egg yolks
    1 tsp. flavoring (almond or vanilla)
    2 1/2 c. flour, sifted
Preparation
    Mix thoroughly the first 4 ingredients.
    Then work in the sifted flour.
    Add additional flour, if needed, to make dough stiff enough to go through cookie press.
    Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 7 to 10 minutes, just until cookie dough is set but not browned.
    Remove on cookie rack.
    Store in closed container.
