Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
3/4 c. oil
3 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. fig preserves
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
-
Sift together first 5 ingredients; add next 2.
Slowly add last 4 ingredients; blend well.
Pour into greased Bundt or tube pan.
Bake 45 minutes at 325\u00b0.
May require longer in a Bundt pan. Serve plain or drizzled with powdered sugar icing.
