Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 slices bacon
    3/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can red beans
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 c. chopped parsley
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    dash of ground red pepper
    2 c. hot, cooked rice
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp and discard meat.
    Saute green pepper, onion and garlic in drippings until tender.
    Add remaining ingredients except rice.
    Simmer 5 minutes until heated through. Serve over rice.
