Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. diced onions
    4 c. diced potatoes
    1 or 2 carrots, coarsely grated
    2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. dried dill weed
    3 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
Preparation
    Melt butter in large saucepan.
    Saute onions until light brown.
    Add potatoes, carrots, water, salt, pepper and dill weed. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 25 to 30 minutes.
    Stir in
    milk and parsley and heat until hot.
