Velvet Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. blanched slivered almonds
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1 pkg. chocolate fudge or chocolate cake mix (without pudding)
    1 pkg. chocolate flavor instant pudding and pie filling (4 serving size)
    4 eggs
    1 c. (1/2 pt.) sour cream
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. oil
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Chop almonds and toast at 350\u00b0 for 3 to 5 minutes.
