Onion Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Ritz cracker crumbs
2 Tbsp. butter
2 eggs
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 stick butter, melted
2 c. Vidalia onions
3/4 c. milk
pepper to taste
Preparation

Mix cracker crumbs with 1/2 stick melted butter.
Press into an 8-inch pie plate.
Saute onions in 2 tablespoons of butter until clear, but not brown.
Spoon into crust.
Beat eggs together with milk, salt and pepper and pour over onions.
Sprinkle with cheese and paprika, if desired.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Serves 6 to 8.
