Cheesy Ham And Potato Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. water
4 c. cubed potatoes
1/2 c. sliced celery
1/4 c. onion, diced
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. plain flour
2 c. milk
2 c. shredded Cheddar
1 c. cubed ham
4 slices cooked and cubed bacon
Preparation
-
Bring water,
vegetables,
salt
and
pepper to boil in pot. Simmer 10
minutes.
Melt
butter
in saucepan; blend in flour gradually and stir\tin milk.
Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture boils.
Boil
1 minute. Add cheese until melted. Slowly stir cheese mixture
into vegetables.
Add ham; garnish with bacon.
Yields 6 servings.
