Sweet Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

4 c. grated raw sweet potatoes
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 tsp. grated lemon peel
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
5 beaten eggs
2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0. Place grated potatoes on a towel and wring out excess moisture. Combine all ingredients except pecans. Mix well. Pour into a greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Top with pecans. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until bubbly.
