Cherry Tart - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 stick oleo, softened
    1 c. flour
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 can cherries, drained
    pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Mix by hand all dry ingredients.
    Add egg and cherries.
    Add oleo and nuts.
    Bake in an 8 x 8-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes.
    Top with whipped cream or ice cream.
