Lemon-Orange Sherbet(This Is A Tasty Treat.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    2/3 c. water
    2 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. orange and lemon juice, mixed together
Preparation
    In a saucepan, cook sugar, syrup and water to a soft ball stage.
    (Use your candy thermometer.)
    In a bowl, beat egg whites with salt until stiff, but not dry.
    Add heated sugar and syrup mixture and beat until mixtures form peaks.
    Fold in fruit juice and place in freezing tray.
    When frozen, cut and serve.
    Serves 6.
