Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pt. strawberries, washed, drained, hulled (1 pt.), crushed
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
whipped cream
baked pie shell
Preparation

Combine sugar, cornstarch and 1 pint strawberries in saucepan. Cook over direct heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring until sauce is thick, smooth and clear.
Remove from heat and add lemon juice. Let mixture cool.
Sprinkle powdered sugar over bottom of baked pie shell.
Fill with 1 pint of whole berries and pour cooled mixture over the berries.
Cool and top with whipped cream when ready to serve.
