No Sugar Cucumber Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 gal. cukes, thinly sliced
8 small onions, thinly sliced
5 c. vinegar
sugar substitute to equal 5 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. turmeric
1/2 c. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
2 Tbsp. powdered mustard (mustard seed)
Preparation

Mix vegetables and salt; let stand 3 hours in crushed ice. Drain.
Put in large vessel.
Pour in vinegar, sweetener and spices.
Heat to boiling point; do not boil.
Put in jars and seal.
