Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small pkg. strawberry jello
    1 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) frozen strawberries, thawed and undrained
    1 c. crushed pineapple
    3 medium bananas
    1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Combine gelatin and boiling water.
    Stir until dissolved. Fold in fruits and nuts.
    Pour 1/2 of mixture in 9 x 13-inch glass dish.
    Chill until firm.
    Spread sour cream over this.
    Spoon remaining gelatin over sour cream.
    Refrigerate until firm.
    Serve on a bed of lettuce.
