Nana Clark'S Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 egg
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour, sift and then measure
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
4 Tbsp. butter
1 c. sour milk*
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt

Preparation

*To sour milk, add 1 1/2 tablespoons vinegar to milk and let stand for 10 minutes.
