Hot Shot Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/3 c. butter
    2 lb. frozen hash browns
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
    1/4 c. mayonnaise
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter.
    Dump into bowl with hash
    browns. Mix mushroom soup, sour cream and mayonnaise.
    Add soup, sour cream and mayonnaise mixture to potato mixture; salt and pepper to taste.
    Top with 2 cups crushed Rice Krispies tossed with 2 tablespoons melted butter.
    Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour in 9 x 13-inch pan.
