Sour Cream Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3 tsp. baking powder
    nutmeg
    flour
Preparation
    Mix all, adding enough flour to make a soft dough.
    Chill until firm.
    Roll dough to about 1/4-inch thickness.
    Cut into desired shapes.
    Space about 1/2-inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 7 to 9 minutes.
    Roll immediately in sugar.
