Chinese Egg Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 garlic clove, minced
1 medium onion, chopped finely
2 scallions, minced
2 celery stalks (including the leaves), chopped finely
2 c. coarsely grated carrots
1 small can bamboo shoots, cut into matchstick lengths
2 c. fresh bean sprouts or canned
1 1/2 to 2 c. finely cut chicken, crabmeat, shrimp, pork, turkey or any combination (or eliminate if you are a vegetarian; tofu is excellent)
1 egg, slightly beaten
soy sauce to taste (about 1/2 Tbsp.)
1/2 Tbsp. peanut oil
1 lb. egg roll skins
Preparation

The chicken can be marinated in soy sauce with a little nutmeg, salt and pepper.
