Spiced Pineapple Pickups - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 oz. chunked pineapple
    6 to 8 whole cloves
    dash of salt
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 stick cinnamon
Preparation
    Drain syrup from pineapple.
    Combine 3/4 cup of sugar and vinegar.
    Add salt, cloves, remaining sugar and cinnamon.
    Heat 10 minutes.
    Add pineapple chunks and bring to a boil.
    Refrigerate 24 hours; drain and serve with picks.
