Deep Freeze Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 lb. flour (all-purpose)
1 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. baking powder
4 tsp. salt
4 tsp. soda
4 c. Crisco shortening
4 pkg. active dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1/2 gal. buttermilk
Preparation

Stir together dry ingredients; cut in shortening.
Dissolve yeast in warm water; add to buttermilk.
Add milk to dry mixture and mix well.
Roll out about 1/2-inch thick and cut in desired size.
Freeze on cookie sheets.
When frozen, place in plastic bags.
Close securely and store in freezer.
About 30 minutes before baking, dip in melted butter.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes. Take out desired amount to serve.
