Congo Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2/3 c. butter
    3 eggs
    2 2/3 c. flour
    2 1/2 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. pecans
    1 pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt butter. Add sugar. Beat in eggs. Add nuts and chocolate chips.
    Add dry ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Cut into squares while slightly warm.
