No Fry Donuts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1 1/2 c. lukewarm milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 eggs
1/3 c. shortening
4 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. melted butter
cinnamon and sugar
Preparation

In large mixer bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water.
Add milk, sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, eggs, shortening and 2 cups flour and blend for 1/2 minute on slow speed.
Stir in remaining flour until smooth.
Cover.
Let rise until double or rise in refrigerator overnight.
Dough will be soft.
Roll around on flour covered board to coat with flour.
Roll gently to 1/2-inch thick and cut donuts.
Lift donuts carefully and place on greased cookie sheet.
Brush with butter and let rise until double.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
Coat baked donuts with cinnamon/sugar mixture.
