Raisin Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. water
2 c. raisins
2/3 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Boil water; add raisins and cook uncovered 3 to 5 minutes. Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt; mix into raisins.
Return to heat; stir constantly until sauce thickens.
Remove from heat; add cinnamon and lemon juice.
Pour filling into crust.
Bake 30 or 40 minutes, until crust is golden brown.
