Brownie Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted flour
    3/4 c. white sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. nuts
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. oil or melted butter
    1/4 c. cocoa
    1 3/4 c. hot water
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa and salt. Add milk, vanilla and shortening. Mix until smooth.
    Add nuts.
    Pour into greased pan.
    Mix brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa. Sprinkle over batter.
    Pour hot water over entire batter and bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
