Orange Candy Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
5 eggs
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates
1 c. pecans
1 lb. orange slice candy, cut fine
1 (4 oz.) can coconut
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. orange juice
1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1 Tbsp. each grated orange and lemon rind
Preparation

Pour this mixture over cake as soon as you take it from oven. Let cool in pan for 20 minutes. Remove; wrap in foil for a day or two.
