Whole Cranberry Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. cranberries
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Boil sugar and water until a thin syrup.
    Wash and drain berries.
    Drop into hot syrup and simmer gently, keeping covered until berries are clear, transparent and tender.
    The cooking must be gentle or berries will come to pieces.
    The beauty of this sauce is the whole clear berry.
