Chicken Fricassee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 lb.) chicken fryer, cut up
    1/2 c. onions
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes (whole)
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Bake, boil or fry chicken; set aside.
    Saute onions, oregano, basil, salt and pepper in margarine or butter.
    Add tomatoes, tomato paste and 1 cup water; simmer for 5 minutes.
    Add chicken and simmer for 20 minutes.
    Serve with rice or potatoes.
