Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 medium onion
    3 Tbsp. butter
    6 c. coarsely cut cabbage
    1 can tomato soup
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter.
    Add meat, salt and pepper.
    Heat through, but do not brown.
    Spread in large baking dish 3 cups of cabbage and 1/2 meat mixture.
    Pour soup over the top.
    Cover and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
    Serves 6.
