Shortcake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
2 c. sifted self-rising flour
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. sugar
fruit and whipped cream
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add egg and beat well.
Add flour to cream mixture and milk.
Bake in muffin pan for 10 minutes. Top with fruit and whipped cream.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
