Japanese Fruitcake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
3 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground allspice
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 c. raisins
Lemon Coconut Frosting
pecan halves (for garnish)
Preparation

Cream butter and gradually add sugar at medium speed on electric mixer.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well each time. Combine flour and baking powder.
Add and mix after alternately adding flour to creamed mixture with milk, beginning and ending with flour.
Stir in vanilla.
